LET’S HAVE A DISCUSSION ABOUT LIFE…

William Shakespeare grew up in a small country town, and got married at 18. He had a boy and two girls, and spent most of his 20′s doing unremarkable work of which there is no record. He didn’t go to college. By 28, he moved to London to work in show business, as an actor and writer, leaving his wife and children back home. He spent part of each year in London, and part at home, which was 100 miles awaytwo days travel. His plays quickly made him a financial and popular success, and at 30 he became a part owner of the company for which he continued to write and act. At 33, with enough money to live wherever and however he wanted, Shakespeare bought the second largest estate in his home town (ten fireplaces), and continued to split his time between home and city. Shakespeare retired at 49, and moved back home permanently until his death, which was three years later. He is buried in the church where he was baptized.

British Touring Car Championship Category: Touring cars Country or region: United Kingdom Inaugural season: 1958 Drivers: 26 (2008) Teams: 14 (2008) Constructors: 6 (2008) Drivers’ champion: Fabrizio Giovanardi (Italy) Teams’ champion: VX Racing (UK) The British Touring Car Championship is a touring car racing series held each year in the United Kingdom. The Championship was established in 1958 as the British Saloon Car Championship and has run to various rules over the years “production cars”, then FIA Group 1 or 2 in the late 1960s and 1970s, and then Group A in the 1980s, when in 1987, the series took on its current name. (A lower-key Group N series for production cars ran for most of the 1990s). The championship was initially run with a mix of classes, divided according to engine capacity, racing simultaneously. This often meant that a driver who chose the right class could win the overall championship without any chance of overall race wins, thereby devaluing the title for the spectators for example, in the 1980s Chris Hodgetts won two overall titles in a small Toyota Corolla prepared by Hughes Of Beaconsfield, at that time a Mercedes-Benz/Toyota main dealer when most of the race wins were going to much larger cars; and while the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500s were playing at the front of the field, Frank Sytner took a title in a Class B BMW M3 and John Cleland’s first title was won in a small Class C Vauxhall Astra. After the domination (and expense) of the Ford Sierra

Travel Writer – How To Get Paid For Writing About Your Travels

So you are a passionate traveler and you have an adventurous spirit. Have you ever thought about being a travel writer or about writing the story of your escapades in different places? You’d be surprised by the money you can make.

It is very easy to write about something you thoroughly enjoy. Its easy to write about your travels, just describe what you see. The majesty of nature, your feelings of amazement, and the beauty of the world!

One tip I can give aspiring travel writers is to learn how to write concisely No matter what your intended market is, you must be skilled in the art of short an informative writing.

Most likely, just writing off the top of your head and then rereading and editing your post will surely result in a literary product that is interesting and engaging. With your great passion, the readers may feel they are right there with you.

So, how can you make money out of it, you ask. Here’s how.

1. Become a Travel Writer On Your Own Blog

Build a website or use a free blog site to begin with. The content of your site will be, of course, about your travels and adventures. Lots of people find travel adventures very appealing and some even use it as an escape from their day to day lives.

If your content is great, using a few optimizations, link building sites, and SEO tricks, you will rank high in the search engine ranking and gain audience members. People will flock to your site and some may become regular readers if you update often enough with interesting posts.

You can gain money from this through advertisements placed in your site. Advertisement systems such as AdSense from Google, Chitika, and others are a great way to get pre made ads for your blog. Or you can be an affiliate marketer for products and services relevant to your content. All of this creates passive streams of income.

2. Write About Your Travels On Other People’s Blogs

If you don’t want the complexities of building your own site, you can write for other people’s site.

Some people are just too busy or too lazy to put articles on their sites so they will happily pay other people, like you, to create articles for them. Short articles, ranging from 450 to 700 words, are sufficient. If they like you enough, they will regularly ask you to make create more content.

3. Sell Your Travel Writing Stories To Magazines and Newspapers

Newspaper work is quite risky because payment is not assured, that being said, it is a good way to earn extra money.

Have a list of magazines, newspapers, or any other kind of reading material that may need content for their publication Your articles don’t have to just be about traveling they can be about anything you want. Contact them and propose a deal that you will provide articles and stories for a nominal fee.

Of course, these publishing outfits will need some samples or something to substantiate your competence. You can give them samples and if they like it enough, they may just make you an offer you can’t refuse.

All About Air Jordan

Air Jordan’s.

There are many collectors of air Jordan’s and they have their own way of identifying the shoes, OG means that they are original, and then you have Retro, Retro+’s and samples.

So let me tell you the Air Jordan story starting with Air Jordan 1.

They were designed by Peter Moore and were first released in 1985, they are a masterpiece in basketball shoe design, although changed later on, the design still excites many today, originally in black and red.

Many other shoe companies tried to copy the design and helped make Air Jordan’s what they are now.

Your original Air Jordan’s came with a set of laces to match the colour scheme of your shoe, usually two sets per pair in red and black.

Eventually 23 different colour designs were made, although selling very well they were retroed in 1994 as the sales were very poor.

Many went in sales at rock bottom prices.

They were retored again in 2001 and were selling out too fast for the shops to keep up with.

Air Jordan IV.

Released in 1989 this was not such a hit as its three predecessors but it was the first Jordan shoe to hit the worldwide market.

Its cushioned sole and smart design made it a best seller.

In the Ad campaign for the Jordan III they had the help of Spike Lee, he made the immortal can/can’t TV commercial and also used the shoe in his film ‘Do the right thing’.

The shoe was retroed in 1999 with two colour schemes, white/black and black/cement.

The IV’s sold out totally in hours, but when they released Retro+ many observers said they had totally destroyed a classic.

The original Air Jordan IV has the Nike Air logo whilst its counterpart the Retro+ has the Jumpman logo.

Retro Packages.

Retro packages were released in 2006, which included ‘Mars Black Mons’, (‘Laser Red’ IV’s with Spike Lee’s alter ego on the heel), ‘Military Blues’ and the ‘Thunder & Lightning’ package, following this, he had the Air Jordan V, Air Jordan VI, Air Jordan VII and VIII.

The Air Jordan IX, X, XI, XII, XIII were followed very successfully by the XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XVX and the XX.

Bringing us to the XXI released on February 18th 2006.

The Air Jordan XXI.

Is released in White/Black and Red colour scheme used during the NBA All Star weekend.

The Red/Black was released on February 25th 2006 where you could choose to have suede colour way for a few extra dollars.

Inspired by the highest and lowest cut Jordan’s and Bentley inspired the grill for its side vents, with replaceable pods you can change from Zoom Air to Air Sole making them personal to you.

I’ve spent several years writing articles/blogs where I’ve not only honored my writing ability I also improved my researching skills.

Travel Writing: How to Make Money Blogging About Your Travels

Have you ever wanted to travel the world and make money for sharing your adventures with the world? Using the web and a simple blog, this couldn’t be easier. There are just a few simple, yet hidden techniques for making a healthy income for blogging about your travels.

In fact, the number of underground travelers who hold no jobs, yet make cash for writing about their  travels is growing by the day. We keep our mouths shut about our techniques as we visit worldwide destinations and get paid for telling the world about it. I know there have got to be great people out there who deserve to travel and want this information, so I’ve decided to share a few of our techniques:

1)   Own Your Blog. Sites like Blogger, Myspace, and BlogSpot are no good for our purposes, because you can’t tweak the site to make a profit very easily. Instead, if you buy a domain for 10 bucks and then install WordPress, you now have the platform to make it extremely profitable.

2)    Utilize PPC (pay-per-click) to get started. You won’t make a massive income off of this right away, but you can easily make 5-10 bucks a day in the beginning. That may not sound like a lot… but it’s enough for a meal every day or a flight after a month, and the number only gets bigger as your blog grows in readership.

3)    Collect names and email addresses.
You want to do this so that you can bring your readers back to your blog. Very few people ‘bookmark’ a site any longer, but if you email your readers every time you post a new article, you will grow your readership at an exponential rate.

4)    Offer an RSS (Real Simple Syndication) subscriptions. Don’t let this intimidate you. Setting this up is as simple as checking a box on your blog’s options. RSS is another way for your readers to keep up-to-date with your blog. Insead of you emailing them, their RSS reader of choice will automatically show them the newly posted content. The more they see your content, the better chance they’ll click on an ad (and therefore, the better chance you’ll get paid)

5)    Sell a product that will interest your readers. Once you are up and running, you will see your readership growing as well. Now it’s time to really monetize your site. This is where affiliate marketing comes in. This is simply taking a commission for any customer you send to another product (considering they buy the product). So, every now and again, make a blog post about the affiliate product you are promoting. When your readers see this, those who are interested will click on your ‘affiliate link,’ and if they buy, you get paid. Easy as that. Becoming an affiliate is always free, and there are thousands of products begging for active affiliates.

By the way, affiliate commissions are typically 50% to 75%. Gigantic, and very profitable.

6)    Create your own product.
The only problem with affiliate marketing is that the product is completely out of your control and you only take a part of the cut. Once you have a bunch of blog posts, you can bundle them together and make an ‘ebook.’ Sell this to your loyal readers, and you’ll be surprised at how many of them will pay for the content they’re getting for free anyway!

There are bloggers out there who are making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for writing about their passions. My instincts tell me you’d be happy with a few hundred or thousand dollars extra per week, so start taking action on these ideas. They’re not complicated, they just require action. The best part is, once they’re set up, they can all be automated and can take place without your presence!

Palestine – the New Myth About Jordan

Jordan’s Prime Minister, Marouf al- Bakhit, has now added one new myth to the countless many concerning Palestine that have been invented by Arab propagandists.

Speaking at a recent seminar marking the 61st anniversary of Jordan’s independence, the Prime Minister asserted that everyone should realise that:

“this small country [Jordan] was not accidentally born nor was the outcome of deals, conferences or conspiracies.”

Jordan’s history is well documented and totally contradicts the Prime Minister‘s amazing assertion.

It was accidentally born in 1921 – as the emirate of Transjordan. It then comprised 77% of the area designated by Britain and France as “Palestine” after the First World War – the land in which the Jewish National Home was intended to be reconstituted almost 2000 years after the Jews had lost their biblical and ancestral homeland to foreign invaders and occupiers.

This noble plan was suddenly “postponed or withheld” in relation to Transjordan, when Britain changed tack and proceeded to transform Transjordan into an “Arab province or adjunct of Palestine”, as Winston Churchill described it at the time. However it still remained part of Palestine until independence was granted by Britain in 1946 but the Jews were prohibited from settling there.

What was postponed or withheld became permanent after 1946.

The Jews were then left to reconstitute their homeland in just 23% of the area originally allotted to them – a miniscule 28000 square kilometres. The Arabs had ended up with the other 92000 square kilometres of Palestine as an exclusively Arab State but this did not and never has satisfied the Arabs. Some wanted and still demand a greater share and others want the lot.

Jordan was indeed the outcome of deals, conferences and conspiracies – a pay off by the British, following the Cairo Conference, to Emir Abdullah, second son of Sharif Hussein of Mecca – to stop Abdullah and his armed band of followers transiting through Transjordan on their way to Damascus to help his brother Feisal in a struggle against the French who had taken control of Syria in the break up of the Ottoman Empire.

Former US President Jimmy Carter best summed up Jordan’s history in Time on 11 October 1982 when he said:

“As a nation, it is a contrivance, arbitrarily devised by a few strokes of the pen.”

One could equally apply Carter’s statement to Syria (independent only since 1946), Iraq (1932), Saudi Arabia (1932) and Lebanon (1943) – all nations created from the vast tracts of the Ottoman Empire allocated to the Arabs by the British and the French simultaneously with the allocation of Palestine to the Jews at the end of World War 1.

Deals, conferences and conspiracies certainly abounded at the time of Jordan’s birth and still exist today when it comes to Jordan and the role it has to play in resolving the Arab -Israel conflict.

The Jordanian Prime Minister ’s statement appears to be trying to distance Jordan from the current woes of the West Bank and Gaza – just 5% of former Palestine and 15 times smaller than the large chunk of former Palestine that Jordan now occupies.

Denying Jordan’s Palestinian parentage and lineage draws a line in the sand. It sends a message to both Hamas and Fatah to not be tempted to try attacking and wresting control of Jordan from its current rulers, as the idea of a separate State in the West Bank and Gaza now slowly fades into the sunset of history.

King Abdullah of Jordan is well aware of this nightmare scenario.

Yasser Arafat tried to do it in 1970 to Abdullah’s father King Hussein from inside Jordan and failed dismally leaving thousands dead in the process.

Now Jordan could face such a threat externally if the chaos, lawlessness, murder and mayhem occurring in Gaza spreads to the West Bank as Messrs Haniyeh and Abbas find themselves engaging in an undeclared war with Israel that they cannot possibly win.

Firing Kassam rockets into Jordan from the West Bank and making terrorist incursions into Jordan could well mirror what is happening in Israel if steps are not taken to prevent jihadist groups taking root in the West Bank.

Preserving the territorial integrity of Jordan and the safety and welfare of its citizens, all of whom are Arabs of Palestinian descent from either eastern or western Palestine, has been King Abdullah’s and his family’s sacred duty since that day back in 1921 when his great-grandfather was induced to remain in Transjordan under British patronage and protection.

Because of their efforts Jordan has been preserved as an exclusively Arab state in 77% of historic Palestine.

61 years of Arab rejectionism since Jordan’s independence in 1946 wasted in attempting to conquer all or part of the remaining 23% have brought the Arab population nothing but misery and suffering.

King Abdullah understands that both Israel and Jordan now have common enemies that are seeking their downfall.

He told Acting Israeli President Dalia Itzik just that only recently.

King Abdullah now appears to be setting the stage for a return to the Arab occupied areas of the West Bank, which Jordan last occupied from 1948 to 1967, as a necessary counter to stop any threat to his country and the relative peace and tranquillity it has enjoyed since it signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1994.

Jordan’s Prime Minister does not have to re-write history to justify the continuing rule of Jordan under its current leadership and the role it must play – as the successor state in 77% of historic Palestine – in resolving who will ultimately be allocated sovereignty in the West Bank.

David Singer is an Australian Lawyer and Convenor of Jordan is Palestine International ? an organization calling for sovereignty of the West Bank and Gaza to be allocated between Israel and Jordan as the two successor States to the Mandate for Palestine

Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Global Security Expert – Mr. Jordan Frankel

As a global security expert, Jordan Frankel honed his talent in safeguarding homeowners from burglaries and home invasions by using a combination of imagination, street smarts and a love of all things security. In his teens, he was already helping local retailers prevent burglaries and costly vandalism. Remember: at a time when his peers were working minimum wage jobs and still collecting a weekly allowance, Jordan was entrusted to devise techniques to frustrate would-be criminals. Not bad for a high school student who soon considered police officers and local merchants among his friends and clients.

At twenty-two, this young security professional and entrepreneur purchased the large retail store where he once stocked shelves. Jordans love for security would eventually bring him overseas where he discovered (and later innovated) new materials that would dramatically reduce break-ins from even the most determined and violent thieves. Hence the inspiration for ShatterGARD , the first in a series of commercially and critically acclaimed window protection films that he created to defend homeowners from the very real threat of burglaries, car theft and storms that confronted residents yearly.

Many of Jordans discoveries find their roots in his dedication to helping others, someone whose job involves thinking out of the box while being prepared for the unexpected. After the tragic events of 9/11, Jordan sought to make security a proven, reliable and affordable reality for the masses worldwide. In fact, Jordan is one of a handful of security professionals who transformed residential and commercial security into a practical investment for millions of homeowners and businesses. By doing so allowing him to apply his vast arsenal of skills, which are normally reserved for the super wealthy Jordans passion for cost-effective security now gives millions of consumers the peace of mind they deserve.

Jordans newest patent pending invention, the OnGARD Security Door Brace, represents this commitment to personal protection. The result of several years of research and consumer feedback, this product confronts one of the most serious threats for individuals or families today: home invasion. With the ability to withstand multiple kicks or shoulder slams from a 250-pound intruder, the OnGARD Security Door Brace is Jordans investment in our nations families; his immediate goal is to design novel security products that defend the middle class from deadly home invasions and burglaries.

Jordan is a frequent speaker on international security, addressing the personal and financial consequences associated with home invasions and other serious threats. His ability to outsmart the proverbial bad guys coupled with his commitment to making security an affordable reality for all consumers is also the key to his credibility as a global security expert.

Jordans ability to outsmart the proverbial bad guys coupled with his commitment to making security an affordable reality for all consumers is the reason behind his international success. A global security expert who is a recognized member of the American Society for Industrial Security and the International Association for Counter-terrorism & Security, Jordan designs security solutions everyone can afford, and more importantly, makes security a subject that we can all understand and value.
