    If you think about the speed of light really isn’t fast at all When you take into account how big the universe is. Even at the speed of light it would still take you 4years to get to Proxima Centauri (the nearest star) Even at the speed of light it would take 2.5 million years to reach the Andromeda Galaxy. Unless we discover how to travel through wormholes or some sort of warp drive technology that allows FTL travel We’ll never leave the solar system.

    Your time-line is somewhat less optimistic then mine. I believe in “jumping jesus”, which is an acceleration of knowledge, and I think the physical restrictions will be tackled away much sooner then 1000, regardless social development of the masses. Not sure if it will be in our life-time though.

    people are to close minded…the first argument you will hear to that is “well it goes against god”. It will be at least another thousand years before humans develop socially,to tackle physical problems.

    We have to increase the life expectancy. There are ageless animals and there is nothing wrong with modifying our DNA this way.
